Gather with your people
Church & community family days
Give volunteers a job, a time and someone to call when a plan changes.
A family day needs people at the entrance, around the activities and at cleanup. Build the plan around the people and space you actually have.

Make welcome information easy to find
Put a host near the entrance with a schedule and directions to the activities. Ask the organizing team what faith, community or homecoming traditions should be included. Give newcomers enough context to choose what they want to join.
Separate orders from attendance
Record an optional shirt choice separately from the RSVP. Confirm the group’s permission to use its name or artwork and assign one person to check the final wording. Keep sizes and contact information with the organizer rather than on a public pickup sheet.
